I get that Drew is also not trying to strap the team when he hangs up his cleats, but like most things in life(and chess) there are often several benefits from one move. I don't doubt that Drew would leave if the team is in Shambles. The FO has made several nice moves and we are moving in the right direction especially after another strong draft. Sean Payton and Drew Brees has been described like a marriage made in heave......but like any marriage it has it's ups and downs and the couple can get overly familiar while needing time away and space because they don't see things the same all the time. Edit: We need to remember that Payton Manning left the Colts for greener pastures. |
