Let's trust the front office ... especially considering how well we've drafted the last two seasons. Side note - shout out to Central Lafourche! Tommy Hodson's finest . |

Actually Danno, our MASSIVELY BIG BAMA guy, echoed something similar to what JP said as far as Bama players producing in the NFL. I was quite shocked when he made that point. Quite a few tend to peak out in college. They still can become good quality players, just not as project-able. |

Ha Ha Dix - has been named to just one Pro Bowl by his fifth year; he's a good player, but I wouldn't call him elite... Julio Jones - best receiver in the NFL, very elite... Landon Collins - best Strong Safety in the game, very elite... C.J. Moseley - Top Five Mike Linebackers in the league, elite... Dont'a Hightower - One probowl going into his seventh season, good player, hardly elite... Amari Cooper - had two great seasons to start and was rolling until a forgettable season this past year once teams rolled coverage on him - jury's still out... And since 2007, Nick Saban has produced 22 first round picks - very impressive... And we just named only seven players, and while we can debate their merits of being elite or not, which I easily and obviously would concede three maybe four are... My point was made - 22 first round picks and only three, four were actually out-the-gate first round talent... And I played against Hodson... |

Lived in Houma for a few years as a child but grew up primarily in Baton Rouge. Graduated from Catholic High & LSU. Purple and Gold all day but I have a lot of respect for the Crimson Tide program. Really hated it when Saban left but oh well.

Re: 2018 NFL Draft Prospects - Saints
True Story: Central would often play their starting QB for one series in the JV games so they could get a look at the defensive front they'd face on Friday...
Made the mistake of nailing Hodson on a clean high-low with a defensive tackle... We were both sat the rest of that game because he was a hot prospect even then... I quit the following day; tells you the commitment HLB has had about winning football... There should never have been an HLB nor an Ellender in Terrebonne Parish - diluted the talent... Terrebonne High and South Terrebonne (or whoever needed to be honored)... Before they split the west side of Terrebonne Parish, there was some serious talent pool there... |

Saints QB Drew Brees scored a 28 on the Wonderlic...
Andrew Luck scored a 37... Andy Dalton, Nick Foles scored 29s... Mitchell Trubisky, Dak Prescott each had a 25... Tyrod Taylor scored a 15... Take A Free Sample Wonderlic Test (50 or 25 Questions) | WTS |

Matt Zimmer
@argusmattz Per his agent's advice, Dallas Goedert will not run the 40-yard dash today. Doesn't want to risk injury. There are some NFL scouts who are less than pleased. 10:05 AM · Mar 30, 2018 That’s not a good move. |
