2018 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

Quick Observations after the Cut-Down Day:

Amazing set of quarterbacks - the third for Bridgewater was unnecessarily costly as we should've been more pro-active in free agency...
After that half-arse effort, the Williams cut makes sense, beside Scott was already the better back; we're not done yet though...
Love TLL, but his route tree is limited 'cause he gets enveloped by defenders as Cooks did, who was traded; Kirkwood has higher ceiling...
Man-o-man are we thin on offensive line - that fourth round pick gaffe with better OTs on the board is coming back to bite us...
Love that Dan Arnold made the team; don't get patching and taping up Ben Watson for sixteen games, should've made a trade or signed Jimmy...
We got the right five defensive ends; special hats off to Mitch Loewen, again, stay healthy, make plays; watch out for Trey Hendrickson as well...
Hats Off Award to Taylor Stallworth as he kept hustling, pushing, fighting, scrapping, running, and willed his roster spot...
Thought we might see a surprise at LB, but Saints FO must be having flashbacks last season, running out of LBs; good squad, but who starts???
Am actually glad to see we kept PJ Williams, he's got starter experience, he's on a rookie contract; shout out to Hardee and Maulet for working for their jobs...
Disappointed Jamerson wasn't kept as a safety, his better position; he has a higher ceiling than Banjo; this is one we're likely to regret...
Actually expected to see more trades like that for Devaroe Lawrence; Stupar was on the market; as was Savage...

Anybody you see out there from other roster cuts you’d like to bring aboard JP? I haven’t fully dug in yet to the league-wide cuts.

Really don't like Watson on our roster as our top Tight End; age, injury, missed camp time, just don't like it at all...

I think we should make a call to Mario Edwards, Jr. He’s a Gulf Coast kid. His father was a NFL cornerback. He’d be good here.

Tho Got Williams outplayed Scott. Think Scott was kept because SP couldn’t stand cutting everyone he drafted this year but danveport and clapp

You're forgetting TreQuan Smith. And, having four out of seven draftees make the initial 53 man roster of a team as deep as the Saints is an excellent draft.

Scott has more talent.

Williams was also cut because of the effort, or lack thereof, finishing his last two runs at the goal line and on the two point attempt in the Rams game...
