Betcha that several of our practice squad players aren't even on our roster right now as other teams will likely sign, even trade, for our cuts...

Since PJ Williams is in the last year of his deal why not trade him to Miami for a late-round pick? Then we go into the season with Lattimore, Crawley, Robinson, Jamerson and Maulet with the option of Hardee if we want to keep six.
We're deepest we've ever been at CB, but you know what can happen (see Okafor); I'd rather stay with the deep roster for a legit Championship Run...

Now, if they want to send over something we need, say TE Mike Gesicki, I'd send Williams and exchange like our fourth and their sixth round picks...

Clapp's performance will determine whether we keep eight (8) or nine (9) offensive linemen...

If Clapp is awesome, we keep eight and let LeRibeus geaux; if he's solid, still showing inexperience, we keep nine...

Ranking our offensive linemen - Unger, Ramczyk, Armstead, Peat, Warford, Bushrod, Clapp, Leonard, LeRibeus...

Saw that. He'd been graded in the mid-70s by PFF the past couple of years and was going into the third year of a five year/$30mil contract...

Guess the Bengals didn't feel he was worth the coin...

See us keeping four (4) safeties this year:

FS (2) 43 - Marcus A. Williams, 31 - Chris Banjo

SS (2) 29 - Kurt Coleman (FA 2018), 24 - Vonn Bell

With Natrell Jamerson has the CB/S/NB hybrid...

George is a big boy at 6' 4", but I wonder if he hasn't lost a step???

I saw that last year he graded out with a 77.7. I’d cut Banjo and roll with Iloka. Von Bell can slide back to Free. Iloka is a better strong safety than Kurt Coleman and Von Bell in my opinion. I think Iloka is the final piece to the puzzle of a top 10 defense.

Maybe. My concern is whether Iloka lost a step (i.e. age, undisclosed injury) or was it strictly a numbers game as it often is with Mike Brown and the Bengals...

The reason I like the Coleman signing so much is I don't see much of a future for big strong safeties and two-down thumper linebacker in a pass-happy league...

That's why there's such a premium on guys like Polomalu; if Iloka can no longer cover, then it's like Kenny V, Harper and it becomes a problematic matchup headache...
