Had a similar sentiment last year after we jumped up and got Kamara ...

Saints basically got 4 1st round talents last year. I'd be ok if losing one for next year ... especially if it's #32 ;).

I'm in the camp that believes Marcus D turns into a terror like JPP but with all of the fingers.

I think we hit a home run. From listening to Payton, the FO knows they hit a home run. TBH, right now people are saying that we gave up a lot to get him. I think in 2-3 years, people will be talking about the amazing value we got. I think we just committed robbery against the rest of the league. The only reason that people are questioning this pick is because he played at UTSA. The moment I saw this guy play, I fell in love with his speed, power, and talent. I think Chris Simms summed it up well yesterday. This guy is perhaps the safest pick in the draft. People keep talking about how he is raw and needs to have his skilled honed. I agree, he does. The guy is so big, strong, and fast though that he can make an impact as is, and hence can make an immediate impact. Some of these sports analysts become fixated on certain things and as a result don't see the full picture.

This guy on the opposite side of Cam is going to be absolutely sick.

Only thing about the first round pic next year....If we need a quarterback or if a good one is available....we're up the creek.

I think Brees still has some mileage. I didn't particularly like this QB class.

Heck if Manziel can prove himself in the CFL for like a year, I'd actually be all for giving him a shot. I know a lot of people would scoff at that , but the guy seems to have a much better energy about him now. I think Payton likes Manziel too. Payton seems to really think Hill can be the one too.

The point I'm trying to make is that we have a ton of options. We don't need to feel rushed into making a decision. If Brees goes down or starts playing ****ty, the season is going to probably be hard to salvage regardless of who we have drafted.

I think thats how most feel dizz.

If he develops into a Demarcus Ware, worth every bit of the trade and then some...

If he doesn't at least reach a pro-bowl level over the next 3 or 4 years... ouch!

On the plus side, I just realized this means we won’t be drafting Arden Key!

When those two picks are #27 and #32? I'd say #14 would be a good value.

Why do people keep saying the Saints gave up 2 1st. They only gave up one and switch the other 1st from 27th to 14th.
