If hill is this bad at this point on his career, he's never going to develop. Done, over, move on from that concept. Noce to keep for his ST play and if you ever needed an emergency in a game

This Lawrence dude keeps making plays and might be a nice surprise.

Exactly. Lets not forget that one of his Ints hit the receiver in the hands and another was basically a hail mary. He did not look comfortable at all though.

True Dat! He still looks good with his delivery. It needs some work and I hope he gets more playing time than Savage to work on his accuracy and find out if it was just nerves.

Obviously he could have run a lot more but he stayed in the pocket and delivered the ball like Payton told him to so we could get better film on him. When he did run he was successful and picked up a first down and more.

The fumbles can be fixed with the coach grilling him and working on the hand off and QB keeper. How large are this kids hands anyway?

I decided to look this up and I believe Taysom Hill might just have the smallest hands of any QB in the league at 8 3/4”. This would probably help explain the fumbling.

One game? He's not played in live game in what two seasons? Need to calm down and pump the brakes...

JT should get some reps over Hill with the 2's to see what he does. I just don't see what everyone see in Taysom or Savage. I honestly believe the Saints need to draft (I thought we would in 2017) a QB next year. Maybe Barrett can emerge in a few years as our #2, but who knows.

What's for sure though is that our franchise QB of the future is 100% not on this roster.

Garrett Grayson was closer to NFL ready than Taysom is. Surprises me how many people still want to wait and see with him. No one wanted to give poor GG the same benefit of the doubt.

I thought so too!! GG was inexperienced, but he seemed to have the right stuff to be a starter at some point.

Bro anything is possible, but how can we really draw a conclusion that he is going to be the QB of the future based off of that. Not gonna happen.
