Yeah isnt this guy a drama queen? He's a clown. Hope he got his clowniness out in NY. I don't see how he's considered an upgrade. I'm sure he's better than Crawley, but I wonder what kind of locker room problems he'll bring with him.

Doesn't seem like a Payton type guy. Weird....

He is definitely better than Crawley. He does play well sometimes, but also see him give up plays, make bad decisions a few times a game. So, even though he is an upgrade, not sure if its worth giving up picks for him.

Apple did make a couple key plays last night, so there's that I guess.
I just dont see this being a significant upgrade. He has potential I suppose, but not seeing him being a difference maker today. Guess we see....

Eli Apple is not very good. (on the field)
Not sure he is good locker room guy either. Collins referred to him as a cancer in the interview...

Apparently he has largely moved past that. I read a couple articles over the summer and Oak just posted a link to another one talking about his maturation. I just hope he has his head on straight when it comes to his play. Seems he's been better this year, but the jury is still out as far as I'm concerned.

The Saints will get way more out of Apple than with that dumpster fire team up in NY did. From purely a football perspective, if anyone doesn't see this as upgrading at the position ... not sure what to tell you. Many considered Marcus Peters "cancer" as well. Too bad the Rams didn't think so.

I'm just glad the Saints made a move at a position of need & based on the details, we stole him for nothing.

Now even though he's been really bad at football, I do like the move. Very low risk with big upside. Sometimes a player just needs a fresh start. Looking forward to see if we can get him playing up to his potential.

They've been so bad at football too.

Biggest question mark is how quickly can he pick up the scheme? A guy like Patrick Peterson would've been plug and play immediately. Not so sure it'll be the same case with Eli.

Hopefully coming to a team with a winning record and history (for the last decade give or take) and a solid locker room will make a difference too. Am I grasping?
