Kind of hard for me only because of Dennis Allen's game strategy. IIRC we rushed 2 guys & kept 6 back in zone, leaving Bell (not a true deep safety) to cover half a field by himself. I've never seen a team drop two defensive tackles drop in coverage to cover no one. Some of the defensive play calling is puzzling to me.

Trust me, I'm elated with the wins despite the defense falling apart at the end of close games. Eventually the odds will catch up with us unless it's fixed.

Side note - so far Coleman is looking like money wasted, however I'm hopeful he turns a corner.

Though im stuck without gamepass at the moment so just watching highlights and redzone. But they look to be getting caught far more in zone than man 2 man?

I actually think we are missing Kenny, the guy was far from perfect but could do a bit of everything when fit. Looks to me one of the areas that needs looking at next offseason alongside a capable pass catching TE for the long term

And he will make a teeth shattering hit on somebody

Dan Arnold is our TE of the future.

I wonder what’s the chances we see him in action against the Queens? Or how long it takes him to get up to speed?

F*ck Dennis Allen's schemes, Safeties can't seem to pick up the exchanges anyways...

Geaux straight up man-to-man with Cover Two safety help on the backstop...

And we don't need to CB Lattimore nor Apple to blitz, rush four, occasionally blitz a LBer, like Klein or Davis...

Put it on the front four to get it done; Shane Falco got flustered when we dropped six and seven into coverage...

When we agree, we agree wholeheartedly. This is EXACTLY how I feel.

Yes sir.

DA gameplan is confusing as hell to me.

Re: Giants trading Eli Apple to saints

I happy with the attempt to get better. We are all in this season and we had to get help in the secondary. A 4th rd pick for a CB with talent and could be a starter is worth the gamble.

I wanted P2 bad....but their was no way we could pull that off without seriously over compensating Arizona. They seem to be sticking to their guns about not trading him.

Re: Giants trading Eli Apple to saints

I like the move for a couple of reasons. One, we identified a clear need and addressed it rapidly with talent. I also like that Apple has a previous relationship with Lattimore and possibly Bell (not sure if their collegiate careers overlapped at all- but they are OU alumni if nothing else). Apple has first round grade talent and potential unrealized at this point. I think our locker room and defensive unit has the ability and mentality to help him improve his game. Depth and health at CB has been and could be an issue so this benefits our secondary overall. We are all in to win over this year and next so adding any immediate contributor is a bonus.

His maturity and off field concerns are an issue that I hope become a non-issue with the change of scenery, familiar faces, winning mentality and leadership of this team.
