I'd like to see three younger starters on the line, they'll figure out the chemistry when they're younger anyways; veterans you have to dance around their feelings, personal space as they get entitled...

He will be very solid as a backup when something happens to Armstead. They can shuffle Easton and plug him right in. I’m happy.
Wide Receivers and Running Backs are only as valuable as their fit into a system, and most don't have a long shelf life anyhow; they're maybe four, five exceptions at any given time during a giving era/decade...

Most are actually plug and play, now - it really is about the coaching, staff, scouting, GM...

We survived pretty well from 2010-2013 with Brian de la Puente at center (And please don't misinterpret this as a knock on Erik McCoy)...

Wonder if Easton was apprised of the situation when he signed or if he got a reassurance phone call from Coach Payton that he'd get a fair shot at the job...

Only guy that helped us was Ted Ginn, but those guys had a ton of opportunities to be "the" guy in crunch time and failed.

That's why I think another WR is very high on our list of needs.
With the exception of Tommylee, everyone of those guys you named have one thing in common - they were all in their first full season in the NFL...

Now they've got a full season and a full offseason, now no longer starstruck, go into the office each day with Hey, Drew instead of OMG, I can't believe that's Drew Brees...

Everyone of those guys except for the diminutive Tommylee Lewis who can't offer sh!t on punt returns (or doesn't really want to) will likely make this team and make some impressive plays on the Run to the Lombardi...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Freakish speed for a big man.
With linemen, I'm more concerned with their bench press, 3-cone, and shuttle times...

McCoy was solid in the Bench Press, but just okay in the lateral skills which is a little concerning as several of his scouting reports suggests he struggles in finishing combo-blocks, second tier blocks...

Besides, if you're linemen is running a 40, it's likely someone's turn the ball over and he's trying to stop a pick-six...

Hopefully Roushar and company can coach better technique to maske those deficiencies in his game; with the investment, he needs to be starting by Week 1...

Video was posted simply to show how athletic the kid is for his size.

Nothing more. Solid addition made by the Saints .

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

We couldn't sign this guy to a 24-hour contract and let him retire as a Saints so he can announce a pick for us every year like this? Now this is how a retired NFL lifer should come to the podium...

Point was, we had a starting center. When Unger retired, priorities changed.
