Kelemete left for this...

And we signed his replacement a year later for this...

So for one million more guaranteed, we could have kept Kelemete last season? More Questions...

Wonder if Easton was apprised of the situation when he signed or if he got a reassurance phone call from Coach Payton that he'd get a fair shot at the job...
His contract should have told him it was a one year deal unless he cements the spot

I love the pick. Draft Bennie Snell with a late pick and we will forget all about Ingram. Ground and pound with a top rated defense and Brees at the helm. SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

Prospects still on the board I'm watching:

DE Zach Allen (He fell just a little farther than where I graded him)
DE Anthony Nelson
DE Austin Bryant (3rd Day)

DT Armon Watts
DT Daylon Mack (3rd Day)
DT Trysten Hill (3rd Day)

SS Juan Thornhill (Turnover Machine fell that far - Wow...
SS Taylor Rapp (His Sparq scores hurt him, but he'll be a steal...)
SS Amani Hooker

S Sheldrick Redwine

CB Isaiah Johnson
CB Corey Ballentine (3rd Day)
CB Jimmy Moreland (3rd Day)

TE Kahale Warring
TE Foster Moreau
TE Drew Sample (3rd Day, Wrong! Cincy was there to prove me wrong)

RT Michael Deiter (Played G, but has athleticism for RT)
RT Max Scharping
RT David Edwards

OG Conner McGovern
OG Beau Benzschawel (3rd Day)
OG Phil Haynes (3rd Day)
OG Keaton Sutherland (URFA, played up and down the OL)

OC Jon Baker (3rd Day)

WR Mecole Hardeman
WR Jeff Smith (3rd Day)
WR Cody Thompson (3rd Day)

RB Brice Love (3rd Day)
RB Devine Ozigbo (3rd Day)
RB Alexander Mattison (3rd Day)

FB Alex Ingold

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

I would like DT Mack/Watts, OT Edwards or Safety Hooker from that list.

WRs I'm watching is Harmon & Butler and we're sitting pretty at that 14th pick. Also, Safeties Gardner-Johnson & Thompson are still available...2 talented athletic secondary guys for some really good depth.

We can grab a real value player here. Unless we fart it like last year's Slick Rick Pick in the 4th.

Reason to take a SS fairly high is that although Vonn Bell improved last year, his play doesn't warrant, nor will the salary cap allow an extension at that position with so many other deals coming due...

Watch for WR Jeff Smith, Boston College to be taken in some super stealthy way; somebody has found skeletons in Mr. Two-Last-Names' closet (don't trust guys like that)...

Sheldrick Redwine and Evan Worthington are worth keeping an eye on in the late fifth and then in the sixth round...

Don't let the Junior Inquisitor AG hear you saying that - I'm gonna really be on my Brother's rack list if I corrupt a fan and gain a convert!!!

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

Ultimately, this is the one stat about McCoy's game that I do care about...
