Re: Antonio Brown at Saints Facility
I've always been a guy who believes a team should be strong enough to deal with players who have some problems, if he can help the team AND doesn't cost much, in case he doesn't work out.
But with Antonio Brown, he's been given many chances recently, and his issues not only haven't gotten any better, they have continued to escalate. He's the type of guy who has the potential to be a MAJOR distraction. Not like teams giving Josh Gordon a chance, and hoping he doesn't get busted for weed. This is way beyond that. talent-wise, of course he could help. But I don't know that his head is anywhere near the game of football right now. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: Antonio Brown at Saints Facility
RG should have made a decision on it weeks ago but there is no decision to be made. He didn't do anything criminal. AB will file a lawsuit and win. Can't destroy someone over a looming civil case unless you don't really care and say screw it which is what RG will in fact do.

Re: Antonio Brown at Saints Facility
You are asking the players to deal with his crap for a month for a massive increase on their chance to win a ring. Im pretty sure the players and coaches can deal with it.
The league needs to put up or shut up with these cases. They are stepping way over the line with these investigations, if there is no ongoing criminal case(not civil) then there should be no suspension. But Goodell is running it like a dick-tator by trying to work behind the scences in blacklisting players. I mean they let AP and Hill back into the sport after the suspected child abuse, Albert Haynesworth damn near parlyzed a man and got to play on, lets not even go into Ben Roethlesberger and Ray Lewis legal history. If a players is convicted or its a Ray Rice type case then fair enough otherwise leave it to the teams |
"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

Re: Antonio Brown at Saints Facility
as was already mentioned: first thing he does is post the waiver that he’s working out with Saints.
This dude is a nut and has not changed. I think the Saints knew he would do this and is just playing head games with everybody |

Re: Antonio Brown at Saints Facility
I’d sign him...if he plays great...if he’s placed on the Exempt list then we get the roster spot back and it doesn’t cost us financially.
Like others have said though, if we sign him the league will send a letter back saying he’s on the Exempt list but at least no one else will get him. |

Re: Antonio Brown at Saints Facility
Bringing in AB for a playoff team is like bringing in a malfunctioning Dessert Eagle. I still say do it if possible. It could fire three time fine which is all we need.

Re: Antonio Brown at Saints Facility
The writer is an idiot. Brown signed the waiver Kaeperdink refused to sign because Kaeperdink was not looking to get on a team in so much as Kaeperdink was trying to get more recognition.
