The league needs to put up or shut up with these cases. They are stepping way over the line with these investigations, if there is no ongoing criminal case(not civil) then there should be no suspension. But Goodell is running it like a dick-tator by trying to work behind the scences in blacklisting players. I mean they let AP and Hill back into the sport after the suspected child abuse, Albert Haynesworth damn near parlyzed a man and got to play on, lets not even go into Ben Roethlesberger and Ray Lewis legal history.

If a players is convicted or its a Ray Rice type case then fair enough otherwise leave it to the teams

Its illegal blacklisting behind the scenes nothing more.

Re: Antonio Brown at Saints Facility

as was already mentioned: first thing he does is post the waiver that he’s working out with Saints.

This dude is a nut and has not changed.

I think the Saints knew he would do this and is just playing head games with everybody

Yeah! Why hold a legitimate tryout in the midst of a playoff push when you can just play head games with everyone and waste time and energy?

I’d sign him...if he plays great...if he’s placed on the Exempt list then we get the roster spot back and it doesn’t cost us financially.

Like others have said though, if we sign him the league will send a letter back saying he’s on the Exempt list but at least no one else will get him.

Sean Payton is a forward thinker, chess player. This is a calculated move by the organization. I'm sure in those private meetings, they've discussed bringing in AB for a "visit" and possible subsequent signing weeks ago. Win now mode.

IMO the Saints are built to win it all without AB, but imagine having him AND Michael Thomas on the same team.

Stay tuned.

Bringing in AB for a playoff team is like bringing in a malfunctioning Dessert Eagle. I still say do it if possible. It could fire three time fine which is all we need.

The writer is an idiot. Brown signed the waiver Kaeperdink refused to sign because Kaeperdink was not looking to get on a team in so much as Kaeperdink was trying to get more recognition.
