I hear that AB says it was a Saints publicity stunt. Way to burn your bridge behind him. We've got a very strong locker room but without Richie Cognito to keep him motivated and performing this maybe for the best.

A. The Saints need publicity?
B. Sean Payton likes publicity?
3. Because the same thing that made him say that is why he is in the predicament that he is in?

We won a SB with a gippy TE, fill in RB's and a defense that just flailed around most of the time. I loved that team but this one is better. That team did have some good WR's but this one is coming along at right time.

We can beat all these teams. Ravens are another story but we are not there yet and neither are they. Deal with that later.

Meh, he's said far worse. He did thank us for the opportunity and did seem to acknowledge that the NFL hadn't made a decision and they are the root cause for the hold-up. The 'publicity stunt' comment was just weird conjecture, which is AB's stock in trade so no surprise.
