Re: Payton's Play Calling
It's unfortunate coach isn't committed to running the football. Specifically Latavius Murray.
In no particular order Sean needs to get a legit #2 WR, CB, G & LINEBACKER this off season. AJ Klein is just ok. We need above average backers when the playoffs start. A sideline to sideline assassin. |

Re: Payton's Play Calling
SP has the right weapon circulating Taysom around Brees, the Defense goes crazy when Hill is in the game. Problem is he didn't do enough of it on key plays

The move to select Gardner made sense because he had late first, early second draft grades on him by nearly every reputable scouting service, and many teams and was still there on Day 3... But calling ambush nearly every single draft has caught up to this team... |

Have no doubt we win that game if Payton doesn't call off the dogs with Taysom... |

Re: Payton's Play Calling
I didnt understand the desire for long developing plays when the oline was getting their lunch ate. It wasn't until our final few drives where we started to have quick passes that we moved the ball.

Re: Payton's Play Calling
The sweep play to Kamara on third and short had me absolutely livid. The two badly timed TO that we knew we were going to need in the fourth cost us that game.
It's sad that I've come to expect this sort of ending to our season every year. To further that sentiment that we need a 2nd receiver, it's been a problem for multiple seasons and it still hasn't been addressed. I don't know if it's a ego thing, but the fact that it's a known problem and we've done nothing to fix it is inexplicable. Someone needs to take accountability. I also feel that it's time for Sean to relinquish is play calling duties and manage the team as a whole. It may damage his ego, but it needs to be done. |
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
All little common sense goes a long way. |
