The name tags were there as a gesture agreed upon via vote by the whole team. Every single player had the same name tag on their helmet. The individual players did not make that decision independently. But, regardless, the labeling it as hero worship of some sort is ludicrous and totally misinformed, just as the ludicrous notion that kneeling during the national anthem had something to do with the military. A number of persons made that connection because they were upset that the "uppity" blacks were complaining. These people claimed that they were upset because the military was being disrespected by the kneeling and claimed that the "uppity" blacks should find another way to protest. Well, now the same people are complaining about this other method of bringing attention to the inequalities. Is it truly the military being disrespected or are the "uppity" blacks and white snowflakes disrespecting someone else, instead?
Man AG, how totally divorced from reality you are.

"A number of persons made that connection because they were upset that the "uppity" blacks were complaining."
-Just a idiotic statement

People are praising Blake and putting his name on the uniform acknowledges that.

Here is your VP candidate praising Blake... https://thehill.com/homenews/media/5...of-jacob-blake

The NFL is going to honor Blake and other criminals because they were mistreated by the justice system (mistreatment happens to all races). However, when the cowboys wanted to honor 6 police officers that were murdered they were not allowed... odd set of values there.

The Saints are 0-42 when running the ball less than 15 times in a game.
