Re: M Jenkins and Michael Thomas killed the Saints
Thanks for your interest. But my life is not the subject matter of the thread, and I'm not seeking points for the interesting parts of my life history. Of course, if someone were genuinely curious to get to know me, for any reason, they are welcome to private message me at any time with a question. But I rather doubt that would happen, since people don't generally come to public forums to talk about each other's personal history.

Example: I have friends that are died in wool Republicans as well as Democrats and come from generations of the same. I handle political discussions very differently with someone that is clinging to an idea rather than an ideal, I find chipping away at ideals to be counter productive and generally leads to an argument about something other than an isolated topic. I have non-white friends that I can have very deep and raw racial discussions with because they know that I do not see race and have no agenda to push other than peace. I know that some of our members played defensive secondary or were receivers and I give more credibility to their opinions than someone that has spent their whole life looking at stats. I know that recovering alcoholics generally have addictive personalities and will stick to something longer than most would, I have learned to walk away at a certain point so that I do not feed their needs. I know SaintsFan's grandmother used to teach guitar and hounded him about wrist position on the fret hand. Now every time that I am playing I look down, and though I have never met his wonderful grandmother, she effects my play style. Even if someone shows no interest, there are advantages to sharing for understanding. After all, most of us have been talking to each other for years now. ![]() |
