Re: Saints willing to consider Michael Thomas trade?
Not specifically. It was up to the Saints to deal out the punishment they saw fit. There’s a clause in his contract that voids up to 35 mil of his guaranteed money if he’s suspended by the Saints or the league. They chose to just fine him and sit him, not officially suspend him. They could have officially suspended him but they did him a solid by not doing it.

Dude’s a beast, those complaining about a practice field scuffle are just clutching their respective pearls, imho. |

It's MT#13 right? Callaway is currently wearing #12.

Re: Saints willing to consider Michael Thomas trade?
lol, Freudian Slip? lol. Nah, just reading the commentary surround Colston and Callaway. Have had Callaway on the brain since I saw him returning kicks three weeks ago, was excited to watch this past game with his activity greatly increased, but ultimately couldn’t afford the time needed to watch it, and see his play with my own two eyes, live. The number 12 just popped into the old brain bucket, lol. Mistake, very simply, a mistake. Thank’s for the correction/head’s-up, and you’re absolutely correct; it is MT#13.

Re: Saints willing to consider Michael Thomas trade?
Tre'Quan Smith stepping up and playing like I knew he was capable of along with some other people stepping up makes it something worth asking. I doubt we do it, but we could get some amazing returns for him. Heck maybe we could get a first for him, pair it with the other first and some other stuff and win the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes. Jets already have Sam Darnold, hey have no idea what he's capable of if he has pieces around him, so they may be willing to part ways with the pick. I'd give up a ton for Trevor Lawerence cause I think the guy is future HoFer.

Re: Saints willing to consider Michael Thomas trade?
It's all a bunch of nothing. Every year just prior to the trade deadline there is a batch of supposition articles about trade possibilities that are thrown out there and invariably some ignorant few see the headlines and assume it is real news. That's what Payton's tweet was addressing. PFT and Mike Florio ran with a headline and implied that the Saints were shopping Thomas. Payton quickly denied this. The next day PFT changes their story and said that Thomas' party "may have been" inquiring about trade partners instead. Thus the Payton tweet with the backpedaling bicycle rider.
