Cut the crap MT is not going anywhere ... he is an Alpha Male player and displays that in every completion against his opponents. He probably is mostly the same in all his interactions ... he went a bit to far and was called on it ... end of story ... everything else is White Noise generated by the talking heads which if you’ve got any sense about these things Is waste of Brain activity. Thomas is not going anywhere this season and only if this becomes a pattern, don’t expect that, do We have to start worring about SP shipping him out. Not likely so can we put this media driven nonsense to rest once and for all.

We can tell who though AK41 was getting traded, they had the biggest sloce of humble pie. Some you should be comedians. How dare ylu compare MT to Cooks....MT is what MADE Cooks available for trade. Some yall worse than the media. One incident and he's hard to coach, a diva, etc how about wish him the best on his recovery and take ANYTHING not from the source w/ a grain of salt

Must be you don't have a clue if you are referring to blog articles from five months ago.

October 13 - “I’ve spoken with Mike,” Brees said, via Luke Johnson of NOLA.com. “Mike and I talk a lot, both personally in the locker room, by text message — we’re always communicating. So at the end of the day, Mike has been part of this team, he’s going to be a big part of this team moving forward.

“We had an incident and Sean addressed it and many of the leaders have spoken with Mike as well. We’re going to be all good.”

Re: Saints willing to consider Michael Thomas trade?

There is a lot of talk saying that Drew and Thomas have worked it out. I don't buy it. First off, Michael Thomas made the socially incorrect egregious error of calling Drew out on social media rather than talking to him man to man. I lost all respect for him then. Strike one. Then he sucker punches a teammate. Strike two. I'm just waiting to see if there is a strike three before I dismiss him as a player I want on my team.

Michael Thomas would not have accomplished as much with a different QB that doesn't have Drew's accuracy and ability to read the field. If he wants to leave he won't be as good. He's gifted but he's not bigger than the team.

I want badly to keep him but I've seen first hand how a disgruntled player can't change the good vibe of a team by sewing discontent. It's tough to come back when it becomes poisonous. As a coach for a voluntary team sport I'm willing to throw a popular player off the team because in the long run the team gets back to playing smoothly and comfortably together again.

In life I do my best to eliminate what are true problems no matter the consequences. I come from a martial arts background as an instructor where I'm not to be questioned. If you have a problem come to me in private with it in writing so we can discuss it with a clear outcome in mind.

Thomas and Brees did meet in private MONTHS ago and worked it out. They have both repeatedly said this. What do either have to gain by lying about it? What you believe really doesn't matter. You are trying to make something out of nothing. Practice fights have happened since football began. Have you personally spoken with either Brees or Thomas and have been enlightened with something other than both have shared? Didn't think so, Rugs.

Ask Jimmy Graham 51 TD as a Saint 27 with 3 other teams.

The more I read between the lines the more I think CGJ or “Ceedy Duece” is a bigger problem and instigator than Thomas. Unfortunately Thomas threw the first punch but I get the feeling CJG is a complete dick.
Thomas can back up his personality on the field, CGJ ain’t there yet.

Well stated Sir ... Unfortunately it come down to respect for your opponent. All the posturing chest thumping and thrash talking leads the this type of situation. Gone are days when players did their thing got up and went back to the huddle a defensive line without inciting the opposing player. AKA Quiet Storm.
