Re: Wtf is up with Lutz???
3 and out first drive. 8 plays and a missed field goal second drive. 5 plays and punt third drive. 3 plays and a pick. 6 plays and a punt. 3 plays and a punt. The offense was non existent the first half and put the Eagles in position to score and have the momentum. When the offense finally decided to show up the defense only gave up 7 points. Y’all gotta stop looking at the stat lines and pay attention to the flow of the game. WHEN you score. WHEN you turn the ball over. WHEN you miss a kick. That stuff effects playcalling for both teams and on both sides of the ball. The high-powered, Saints offense can’t score 25 points? Taysom Hill’s two turnovers and those two missed field goals killed this game. For all those rushing yards the Eagles weren’t really controlling the game because of it. The time of possession was about equal. The bulk of Sanders yards came from one play. |

Defense didn’t execute containment, especially in the first half and the offense didn’t arrive at the stadium until the 2nd half. |

Re: Wtf is up with Lutz???
Hurts looked decent. We definitely didn’t make him look like a messiah. He completed 57% of his passes and protected the ball like he did at Alabama. His damage came on the ground from scrambles because we play a lot of man and **** was locked up. Again, a big chunk of that yardage came on one play. The defense gave up 24 points. The league average is 25 points. Offense and special teams couldn’t even be average.
