I haven't been able to watch all of the games, JP. Has Callaway been double teamed or dropping catchable footballs? Something else?

Found he gets muscled in one-on-ones a little too much for my liking for a WRx1; MT will physically, within the rules, separate from the defender...

Callway, not so much...

While I'd like to have had Brandin Cooks, compared to other years, I really like what the Saints FO did in Free Agency and Trades this cycle - Currently a B+...

Not addressing the Guards (Ruiz and Peat) and not doing something to limit the damage Peat's contract is doing is an issue...

Like that they stood pat with Adebo and let some quality depth at CB fall to them, so that proved shrewed...

Also, things fell for them with Stills coming available to complement Harris at the WRz spot (as I admitted, wanted Brandin Cooks back); another stealth move...

Now, what could still hurt them was putting too much faith in Tre'Quan; also, maybe a little too much patience as Nick Vannett has been as unavailable as Tre'Quan...

Think they maybe should've brought in a proven blocking TE when they were available late in PreSeason, Week One...

Stills hasn't really done much though. I agree with most points. But I can't stand Cooks and was glad he left. The only thing I'd like if we had Cooks is I'd say "Let's go Brandon!" All. The. Time. Lol.

Look I get a lot of Cook's end of tenure, exit was really, really bad optics; reminded of Reggie Bush when MI was drafted...

But to be fair, let's remember this, Brandin Cooks was featured early and often when he first came aboard; Sean really liked showing off his new toy added to his offense...

Cooks was an absolute beast that was an everydown, home-run threat that just tore the tops off of defenses and made all but the elite defenses sleepless...

And as his contract year played out, while still consistently open, he was the third option on many play calls, thus limiting his stats in a contract year...

The 23yo understandably grew frustrated, especially when Sean wouldn't explain in one-on-ones talks, what was the reasoning for his shift...

If y'all's memory is accurate, fair, prior to that sh*t show contract year, Cooks had often been lauded as a positive force in the locker room, community, and on the field...

Anyways, before judging him, factor all that perspective into y'all calculus; you may still disagree, but it'd be fair to consider those factors...

This is pretty much our last option.

Don't think he'll clear waivers.

The LV Raiders could pick him up since they've already released Ruggs.

Tampon picked up former LSU Cyril Grayson whom the Saints cut a while back last year.

Jackson won't be subject to waivers. He'll be a free agent when released.

You are correct. Thanks for the clarification. The keyword is "released" here. DJ can sign anywhere he chooses but does he want to play for NO with a backup QB?

I could see him staying closer to home, sign with the Raiders (Ruggs released) & catch passes from a gunslinger but what do I know.

Edit - NBC Sports use the language "released" but ESPN, NFL says "waived". If waived, he would have to clear waivers.

Which one is it?
