Edit - NBC Sports use the language "released" but ESPN, NFL says "waived". If waived, he would have to clear waivers.

Which one is it?

On Tuesday before 5:00 EDT (trade deadline) it would have been released. After it is waived. Veterans with four years on the books, I believe, are not subject to waivers prior to the deadline.

I know a lot of people are real hesitant about adding OBJ, but I can guarantee you we’re putting in a waiver claim.
