Re: 2021 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
So, I like Murray a lot. He would be my first choice as a 2nd back. But if he doesn’t want to play for 1-2 million range, there are apparently backs that will be available for that. Bell, Mack, Booker were three names I read about.

I wonder if The Rock is paying attention to all of the NFL talent that is available. Revive the XFL?

Re: 2021 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
The cap is contractually (CBA) tied to revenues. The league can't share less than the agreed upon percentage. Were they referring to the 2021 cap? It shouldn't rise much more than the floor ($180 million) already determined. We may know that final figure later today. Most of the new contracts will become effective in 2023 and that is when the cap should skyrocket, but the league and the NFLPA can negotiate a proration (borrowing from future revenue) back into 2022.

The minimum cap has also been adjusted upward to $180 million since Schefter's tweet back in early February. |
