Subsidized by public funds and television contracts - too big to be allowed to fail - we must give the citizens their games...

And those citizens are now global. NFL easily makes up the most watched shows on all of television and will continue to do such on other platforms, as well. Gotta love it!

For event broadcasting, yes - Comparing apples & oranges though...

With the advent of streaming et al media, folks now can choose to watch alternate entertainment on their schedule, not the same with event broadcasts...

The NFL has been king for two decades, but is now seeing decline in its numbers...

Oh, I get it. Just find it interesting that he's now a FA...

Funny how those most Bama guys wash out but those Louisiana State boys seems to find more success in the NFL - Keep signing with Bama!

This is the kind of guy I'd love to have backing up Taysom (if he is indeed Sean's guy)...

You think Taysom will be THE guy in 2021?

Not sure, hearing about some locker room rumblings about players in certain camps...

Do I believe Taysom can be a viable starting QB in the league? Absolutely.

For a guy who hadn't taken snaps in four years, he was impressive; he got a case of the fumblelitis that he's got to skill correct, but Payton saw enough to believe he could be the starter.

Want no part of Jameis Winston; and if Bruce Arians, who's coached some pretty quarterbacks (i.e. - he knows quarterbacks) let Winston walk, that should be speaking volumes...

I didn't know being a QB in the NFL was so dependent on looks.
