I tell ya', that's why I say Philly is in the Penguins' heads ... even Crosby is trying to mix it up in order to generate some kind of motivation, but it's a game Pittsburgh will lose. You know, Shanahan blew it when he didn't suspend Weber for the WWE headslam of Zetterberg in game 1 ... it has set the tone for this season's playoffs and we're going to see a lot of fighting this year, have already ... and I didn't even necessarily disagree with the first move Weber put on Zetterbert, that was just 'hockey' ... it was the second, more intentional one that I thought Weber should have got a game for.

I always found it kind of ironic Brendan Shanahan was named the NHL Director of Player Discipline, he was the consumate enforcer ... could score & fight ... but maybe that's what will make him a good DPD, he understands that you gotta' let these guys go sometimes.

You are right-- absolute intent to injure by Weber- should have bee 2 games. Milbury was saying yesterday that Shanahan was a hard-ass in the regular season but really blew it with the Weber call.

Yeah, I think Shanahan is putting too much thought into the process ... when you can only fine a player $2500 max for an infraction, you need to just hand out game suspensions a little more freely in order to get the point across. I know it's the playoffs, but there's been more scrapping in this years playoffs then ever before ... if he doesn't suspend Neal & Asham, it's going to get out of hand and there will be anarchy the rest of the way with teams taking it upon themselves to meet out justice.

Only game I could get last night was Rangers/Senators ... it was a good, fast-moving game, nothing like their Game 2 melee ... Lundqvist is looking sharp in net for the Rangers.

Ya, his brother's name is Tim. He is the coach of the HS team, manager of the Pro Shop, and runs almost everything hockey related that isn't NCAA level. I'm the designated skate sharpener for the HS team as well. He is one of my bosses, but he isn't my direct boss. So if my real boss says something to me, it trumps him...plus my direct boss is the rink manager lol
