I just think that would be the most entertaining to watch in the finals. Nashville would be a close second though.

Philly tried to play NJ's game Tuesday- not sure why. Bryzgalov was excellent, but hung out to dry too often

You know what I noticed in the Pit/Phil series? The Flyers had that mid-series slump ... that's what it looked like last night ... nobody in front of the net, power-play non-existent, the big guns aren't rolling ... they're only down one game & should get it together though ... NJ is hot and with Kovalchuk back are more dangerous then the Penguins, IMO, and they got Parise ... another good series.

Big news is out of the West ... the Kings are up 3-0 on the Blues? Not that I particularly care if the Blues lose, but the Kings? Riding that hot goalie for all he's worth, I guess. <scratches head>

The offense has looked pitiful, and NJ really wants it more right now. Devils' forecheck has been very impressive.

Yeah, Giroux needs to show up ... saw somewhere Laviolette is tinkering with putting Hartnell on Giroux's line ... that should get things going for the Flyers ... winning 3-out-of-the-next-four is going to be tough against this New Jersey team, but if Philly can force a Game 7, they'll be at home and just might squeak it out ... Jagr should have come to Detroit, that's where the old-timers go to win Cups, , at least that's how it used to be.

Jags is playing so lackadaisical; back hand passes and nonchalant moves that lead to giveaways. Right now he is a perfect 4th liner: provide some minutes with at least some potential to score.
I see a short bench tonite, especially on D. Flyers' 5-6 dmen have been awful.

Putting Hartnell on Giroux's line jump started the Flyers with the first two goals last night, but they got no legs out there ... all I saw in the Phil/Pitt series was orange flying everywhere, two/three guys on every puck, in front of the nets and the speed ... I would watch a Wings/Pred game and then switch over to Flyers/Pens & the difference in the tempo was noticeable ... Philly is letting NJ slow them down and take away their game, now they got to do it the hard way and win the rest of the way out. Jagr last night (3 SOG, +/- -1), a great talent to have as a fourth liner, but you're right, he's in the same funk as the rest of the team.

The LA Kings sweep the St. Louis Blues to advance to the Western Conference Finals ... WTF?!? Now I know for sure the Mayan prophecies are correct and the world will be coming to an end this year, ... if Jonathan Quick (LA) doesn't win the Vezina I'll know for sure it's the end of times, and I don't care how far Lundqvist takes the Rangers, Quick deserves it more.
