It's on! New Jersey Devils vs Los Angeles Kings for the Stanley Cup ... battle of the goaltenders, Brodeur & Quick ... New Jersey will host games 1,2,5 & 7 due to performing better during the regular season ... both teams have momentum going in, but watch for New Jersey to jump out to a quick 2-0 lead in the series & take the Cup in 5 games ... bold prediction? Yes, and I've been terribly wrong before in these playoffs, but the Devils have Zach Parise & combine that with the way Brodeur is playing, they will not be denied ... the Kings are gonna' run out juice in this one.

Devils definitely have the look, but Kings went 12-2. Hopefully they show up game 1 without the just-happy-to-be-here look.
On a side note, I bought a set of Flyers nesting dolls in Moscow today. Pretty cool.

Ok, ok ... I'm feeling the general consensus in the group is that the Kings are going to win ... it's alright, me & Zach have been there before ... the underdog, the doubts, ... I am counting on LA experiencing a bit of 'deer-in-the-headlights, just-happy-to-be-here' & by the time they regroup, it'll be too late ... maybe it'll go to 6 games.

They have just about every team, if you look long enough, bc each vendor only has 20-30. There are 5 players in each. Again, very cool.

I've lived in a lot of countries and in quite a few there always were knock-off Reeboks, Nike, pro jerseys, Rawlings ... even cigarettes like knock-off Marlboro & Kools, ... I did look up nesting dolls online though & found some ... it's not the same as getting them there, of course, but if you can't find what you're looking for, give the internet a shot.

$24 USD sounds fair to me, plus you're getting them in the motherland, that's the cool part ... now, for B&G conspiracy-theory sake, are you really on vacation in Russia or is this some kind of covert mission? ... you don't have to answer that if it'll blow your cover ...

As for the dolls, you are right, buying them here is the cool part, mainly bc each is a little different: the Saints I saw today were actually more copper than gold.
