If you go by percentages, there are more Christians than there are people practicing homosexuality. Perhaps the NFL is reflecting on God's promise not to flood the earth again due to, oh I don't know, people engaging in sodomy among other things?

The NFL is tone deaf to the percentage of fans that are offended by this pandering to the debauched.

Sorry for the thread-jack.

Archie Manning could have used some offensive line help...

We need to look him up in a few years to see how his analysis compared to what we see on the field.

This is the only way any draft pick or player acquisition should be judged.

At least he didn't cost us two first round picks and a fifth...

Honestly, was deflated re: the pick, sitting there, after failing to move up for a CB, I'd preferred S Trevon Moehrig, IOL Landon Dickerson, or QB Kyle Trask...

My real preference was to trade back (no takers), and accumulate more darts in the second and third round where the talent, grades there were bountiful...

Better depth, more chances to develop starters...

But, even if Turner's draft floor was a late 2nd round grade, he's great value, gets to work behind Cam Jordan who he'll likely succeed, and he replaces T-Rex' departure...

Check that box...

My biggest question marks for Turner was him sitting out part of his senior year, some earlier injury history, and him not facing elite OL talent (e.g. Davenport)...

But as the interviews accumulate and more of Turner's personality is revealed, am more optimistic about his success in the NFL...

And while it's not on Davenport Sean overspent draft capital to move up, it's worrisome this subtle, coordinated media spin of Marcus dealing with pressure to succeed...

Too be honest, find that kind disconcerting as one of our own likes to point out that we're not getting all of it, as in we're only getting the tip of the iceberg...

I'm sorry for your deflation, Jeanpierre. Your reinflation will be in my prayers.

Canal chronicles wrote a related article on MD earlier this week. His overall production isn't as bad as it appears …

^^^ Not to forget the Saints - Patriots trade of Brandin Cooks put us in position (got a 1st rounder for BC) to select Ramz.

Meanwhile Reuben Foster is an often injured player looking for work in 2021.

Fast forward to now, Saints defintely won that trade :bng:.

Sad to see Brandin exit that way; but we weren't going to be able to extend his contract, so it was a no-brainer...

Actually it's sort of interesting as by definition a mock draft has to present a draft order, which is by definition a projection on the results of the 2021 season. This particular mock has the Saints picking at 24. That has the Saints making the playoffs, winning at least one playoff game, and losing out in the division round just as it rolled in 2020.

Of course I think the author just cheaped out because the list shows the same final four as last year, with the same SuperBowl participants, only with KC winning. BTW it also shows the Rams (The Lions pick) at 28 as the 4th NFC team in the division round.

Of course I don't take much stock in this draft order as it has the Eagles winning the NFC East. There's no way that's gonna happen.

Lol.

I thought this year would be different (Marshall or Cox) on drafting a LSU stud.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Jabrill eventually take Vander Esch’s job. The damn Cowboys of all teams.
