There went LB Monty Rice. He can probably sign Jabril Cox as a UDFA if they still need a Quality Control Assistant's Assistant.

So funny to watch y'all, as if your thoughts matter to the Saints organization. Too slow, bad trade up and so on. Maybe in your next life you will have a job that matters on draft day. The best thing about being a fan is the fact you can be a sideline expert.

We desperately need a WR now. Brees was great at forming chemistry with undrafted guys but Brees is gone and we dont know if Jameis can do the same. We need to get him some weapons.

By the way, what the hell has happened with Jabril Cox? I thought wed have to trade up in the 2nd round for him but there he sits on day three.

Ok - if we draft Ian Book in these later rounds, the transgression of the first round will be forgiven and I'll give the Saints an 'A' grade for this draft.

Who knows. Medical (recent shoulder surgery), bad interviews, didn't play at "Thee" Ohio State or maybe his RAS wasn't up to par with the Saints liking. Ceedy dropped in the draft to Day 3 too & made a lot of teams pay.

Jabril most likely gone today though.

Ive never been an Ian Book guy but will definitely keep an open mind. I was hoping for a weapon for Winston or a high upside side like Wade even though he got dragged around the football field last year.

This will make for one hell of an interesting QB situation during camp and preseason. Its a great story...the Gadget knife, the Gunslinger, and the Rookie. Could shape the teams future.

I would have thought that the end of the 4th round would have been about right for the ninth QB off the board. If they had him targeted he probably wouldn't have made it another 80 picks or so ... the Saints next pick in the 6th round.
