Saints and Jameis Winston reach an agreement on a 1-year deal

I think Winston, with Sean mentoring, may very well set the world on fire. I'm excited.

Brees has retired and Russ Wilson isn't an option. JW is on a one year prove it deal & he came cheap. He's good competition for Taysom & the Saints aren't tied to Winston long term.

What's your plan at the QB position for 2021 ?

It's not rosy, but we have to have someone to take the snaps. We're in no worse shape than the other 3/4ths of the NFL who are hoping to upgrade their QB on an annual basis.

We'll probably still be looking for another QB next year unfortunately. Maybe not but probably so. I have no faith in Winston until he proves me wrong and I hope he does. I look forward to watching Simien at training camp. You never know....

I'll eat crow if I'm wrong, but anyone wasting their money on his jersey or thinking he's gonna take the Saints to the promised land is probably going to be disappointed.

Winston is backup material and an interception machine. Not to mention...he seems kind of dumb. And not like the Alvin Mack type of dumb from "The Program."

Yeah he has a cannon, but it's not like he didn't have receivers in TB.

Guess we'll see. Maybe I'll have crow etouffee next season.
