I like Corral, I also like a WR he throws to.

I wonder how Ireland/DA/Carmichael feel about Matt as a potential starting QB for the Saints? A lot of 1st round "buzz" is starting to surface on this guy.

For me, I just couldn't ... not at #18. Except the usual suspects in the draft ... Jags, Dolphins, Jets, Browns. Reaching for the next big thing at QB.

Don't know Major, last time we had an Ole Miss qb, if we would have put a O-line with him we might of had something.

And his son who played up in New York wasn't too shabby either.

Ole Miss Legends!

Doubt Corral makes it to us, he's one of only two, maybe three, QBs in this class that I'd consider with a first round pick...

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting

This year's QB draft class kinda reminds me of that 2006 version.

Vince Young , Matt Leinhart , Cutler, Clemmons, etc.

Not a lot of "pop" or "sizzle".

That's what I keep hearing and reading. Why would we want to delve into it in the first round when Winston is arguably a better option than anyone coming out this year and we still have a freshly drafted QB project in the wings already. Simply doesn't make any sense. I'm pretty sold on your WR move.

Because your own word: "arguably". You're welcome.

Jameis has a history of throwing picks. The offense was pedestrian even when he was starting. He's not exactly mobile. Just off the top of my head - see I don't rely on twitter and op-eds to shape my views.

The smart move is to explore all options.
