From that angle, no I can't say the throw cause the injury. I mean the corner was on his outside shoulder, so if he lead him, Landry could of gotten his head torn off. Then again from a endzone view maybe Winston had plenty of time the throw earlier in the route idk.

I think the main subject of this conversation is, if Winston should rest and I think he does. Poor decision making and health are causing a lot of problem for this O. Now, it's unfair to blame everything on Winston. The o-line play has not been the greatest, neither has the play calling. I'm sure everyone here is saying run on 1st, run on 2nd, pass on 3rd. You can't beat nfl teams like that, but o-line play also goes hand in hand on quick decision making by the QB. Our O is big on that and that's why TB had success when Brees went down. Winston has not shown that in his entire career. Neither have any of the Qb's listed on our roster.

This bring me to this. This whole situation we are in, is a complete mismanagement by the whole organization. As much as I love Brees and I still wear jersey every game day, he was done the last two years of his career. Qb should of been top priority. After missing on Mahomes, we complete whiffed on getting Lamar Jackson and he was right there. We never looked at QB until Book who will forever be a back up.

DA never wanted Winston as his QB, but was forced to bring him back because he is familiar with the O and wanted a smooth transaction. Well that's not working so something has to change and I think that starts with sitting Winston so he can heal and see what happens with Dalton.

Just finished watching those highlights and wow, Jameis got lucky that Callaway made such a great catch for the touchdown. Because he threw the ball into triple coverage, in the redzone.

I've seen all I need to see out of him, Dalton or Taysom time I hope

Can't disagree with most of that.

Re: Do you rest Winston?

Watching Tua getting carted off tonight, I hope the Saints are paying close attention on playing a injured (JW) guy. You don’t want to mess around with neck & head injuries.

Extremely dangerous.

Prayers for Tua 🙏.

If QBs are getting injured like this, there are rules in place to protect QBs already. What is different that refs aren't calling to protect QBs?

Not sure if you saw the highlights from Tua last week, but Miami had no business having him play TONIGHT. Just four days ago he suffered a concussion (although they claimed he was just dazed) .

IMO the Dolphins lied about his current condition. That's a shame.

A 4 day turnaround time from head trauma/concussion? C'mon Miami, what are you doing?

NFL is just as liable as the Dolphins. Should have gotten rid of Thursday Night Football while they were getting rid of the Pro Bowl!!!

I want to play Taysom. You either get a giant spark or you are drafting in a good position.
