But I was using that old example of Gardner-Johnson being an irritant. If he had done it before, whether totally resolved or not, it shows that he can be a distraction. Not saying that's what happened, but stressing that we don't know all that was involved in the decision to move him. |

Speaking of "pass rush" or lack there of ...
Payton Turner. Correct me if I'm wrong but he's been a healthy scratch a couple of times this season. Our D line needs guys to step up. Cam Jordan can't continue to do it off the edges by himself every week. |

Turner was active and played weeks 1, 3, and 4. He was inactive weeks 2, 5, 6, and 7, all with a chest injury. Last week was the first time he's even been able to practice at all since week 4 and was limited. Yesterday was the first time he's been a full go in practice since week 4. It looks like we'll have Turner back this week. Hopefully it pays dividends with the rush. |
