Especially seeing as how a large % of NFL players and Saints players are black. But hey that’s your opinion. On the flip, would you like it if someone told you that you just didn’t want Dalton because he’s white and you’d rather a black QB?

My opinion is that playing the race card to a bunch of fans that just want the team to win made you look ridiculous. Especially when you know very little about them, their families, lives or culture. You certainly lost some credibility with me. Not that it matters to you really.

But to each their own.
My opinion I thought all opinions were welcomed? I thought AK being called a thug over a fight was ridiculous but who cares right? Leave me to my opinion or ignore. I don't need help seeing both sides. I said what I said. Guys in here make slick race baiting comments all the time. Not all but some. I don't want Dalton or Winston that's the difference. And Jameis didn’t lose the job it was taken from him. See how you talk without context? Idc about how you view me dude. I stand on my own in this forum I don't need group of get wits to back up or validate anything from me. You're prime example of selective politicking have the same energy for all the other ridiculous takes no football related in here....

Because the one thing that is emotional is that I prefer the Saints win games and the Falcons lose games. And I think that those people being part of the Falcons organization would help achieve that results, in terms of the leadership skills of Allen, the long term decision making of Loomis, and the health outlook of Thomas and Davenport. Its nothing personal. I don't think they are bad guys or get hurt on purpose. I just would prefer my team not be the one paying them when they do. I hate watching the Saints lose. As someone who hates watching the Saints lose, I cannot love the idea of every member the Saints organization who underperforms being given a second and third chance. The Patriots dynasty cut loose all kinds of their players when they feared they were passing their primes and the timing was not always perfect but no other team got more than 6 rings trying something else. So sorry if I don't want continuity at every role forever and that makes me a hater. I wanted continuity at every role for the Falcons when they had Matt Ryan, because I wanted them to have the same result forever as when they blew a 28-3 lead. For us, I want something different.
Patriots haven't done anything since Tom left what's your point? Them cutting ties with players has done what for them? Trading Gilmore did what for them? Cutting Cam has done what for them? Yall speak on things so absolutely and have no idea what you're talking about. Grade a defensive linemen impact without mentioning sacks....I'll wait

Re: Marcus Davenport

There is not a stat for impact at least not yet. Unless they start doing a plus minus in football. You can want them gone or feel like they have run its course. It's the non football statements you don't know the type player or person someone is you know what you see and what you're told. Guys come in here with these Skipbayless a$$ takes. Speaking on guys character you don't know but would wait in line for autograph from them. It's weird I'm told ignore it so take the same advice put me on ignore etc.....or scroll on by.

At least I can say Guido thinks for himself. A man with his own mind rhyme and reason is always respected. If you don't like what anyone has to say in here ignore it, it's that simple.

Re: Marcus Davenport

You don't have to want Davenport like him etc....but tosay bro isn't impact player while being the Saints best graded linemen is ridiculous and shows an emotional stance. MT was injured for playing in the playoffs on one ankle, you don't think the team encouraged him to play "we need you" then he does aggravates his injury then it's awww this guy isn't dependable he stole money etc....AK is a thug......Alot of you were calling for Cam Jordan head before he accumulated those sacks....Why are you worried about the Saints money? You don't handle the Books ...lls be a fan have your opinion on players play and coaches coaching...Who DA is as coach may or may not be who he is as a man. II don't like DA as the HC I have very little insight to who he is as man/person. Criticize his coaching all day but him as a person unless you know him can't speak to that, that would be gossiping. Marcus Davenport hasn't statistically showed up this past season but he impacted game on the same level. But only guys who watch football without emotional bias for their team would understand that. Ignore or scroll because I ain't going nowhere. All opinions football and non-football related are welcomed

Re: Marcus Davenport

Marcus Davenport had .5 sacks last year. Let that sink in for a minute and then look at his contract and see if you still want him to suit up for the Saints. I had high hopes for him but those have been gone for quite some time now. I wish him well in the hot tub wherever he goes.

Actually you started the “selective politicking” that wasn’t football related. You’re blinded by your own hypocrisy.

But I never told you that your opinions aren’t welcome. I wasn’t attacking you, however I do feel as though the comment you made was an attack on others.

You’re rage posting. Chill. We’re all on the same side. But everyone has a different opinion. Good grief.

.5 in 13 games played? ... that's just not going to get it done.

Maybe you try him at DT?? Vet min?

Notice that I've been on the defensive tackle train lately .

A whole lot of teams have stopped winning when they no longer had a franchise QB. What the Patriots did a lot better than the Saints, Colts, Packers, etc was winning rings while they had a franchise QB. I don’t think 100% of that was just that Brady was way better than Brees, Manning, Rodgers, Favre, etc. I think if the Patriots married Andrus Peat for a big chunk of Brady’s career or structured Moss’s contract so they could not move on when his production declined they might have won a lot less rings with Brady. Likewise, while looking for and once we get a true franchise QB, we have to hedge our bets at other positions and not just keep everyone because they are family or whatever. We will need draft picks or salary cap space to get a true franchise QB and to get those we need to move on from some players and be patient in the draft at other positions. And we need a GM capable of being patient and a head coach capable of running an offense and developing a qb, not just nice guys we dont hate to drink a beer with. Winning is not personal, its business.
