I feel drafting a QB is always luck ... good or bad. Bad far and away more often than good. Nobody can tell for certain how any college QB will translate to the NFL game. If they claim they can then they're lying.
They couldn't have been to bad, Rivers was a good qb. and Eli won 2 Superbowls. That looks solid to me and not luck. They have a really good qb. now, was that luck?

Not at all ... But we now see rumors of TB landing Carr.

And no one wants our OC. And no one wants Eric Bieniemy also. Are they equivalent as OCs?

Rumors are nothing more than hacks looking for clicks. You're smart enough to know that for sure. And no one wants Bieniemy and Carmichael as head coach because of the perception that Reid and Payton were running the whole show. They are basically the same. They both need to prove themselves before they'll get the interest.

Of course. Not demoting and/or firing Pete Carmichael after the 2022 season is gonna cost LD Bell (Dennis A) his job in 2023. Watch.

And ZERO guarantees DCarr signs with New Orleans. Aging vets, salary cap issues & our stud RB is gonna sit for some games.

Brace yourself. It could get ugly in NOLA this season.

Bieniemy to Reskins/Commanders, maybe.

Pete stays put, so far. Wonder why SP has not called him yet.

And yet another Saints coach trying to secure a stable living.

Payton can't talk to Pete. It would be a lateral move. Not unless Loomis allows it and there's no reason why he should.

I'd like to see what Carmichael can do with a decent QB and a healthy offensive line and a coaching staff not all left over from Payton's reign. Don't forget, when Allen took over he had to keep all of Payton's staff.
