I'm getting back on board with MT signing a new contract that's incentive laden and has very little financial risk for the Saints. After looking at his college film before we drafted him I knew he would be a great pro but his injuries have hurt a promising HOF career. Maybe he can come back without re-injuring himself but I have my doubts about his ability to be available now. He's no spring chicken and his body is three years older which takes longer to heal now between setbacks.

I don't blame him for not being in contact with the Saints medical staff anymore because they had already played him when he was injured. Our medical staff has misdiagnosed far too many cases through the years and the staff was sued by Delvin Breaux iirc.

If David Carr wants him in New Orleans then I hope he's back with the Saints and putting up big numbers again. There is no doubt that he's talented. We just need to see that talent producing on the field and not worried about what he's getting paid to do it.

He's had surgery & 2nd opinion. MT is good to go for the 2023 season right? Ready to win that comeback player of the year award?

DCarr can't throw them and catch them.
