Re: Can't Guard Mike
All do respect, he hasn’t proved anyone wrong in a couple years. Except for maybe proving the people wrong that actually thought he was going to get back on the field.
He’s probably gone after this next season regardless if he contributes or not. Draft his replacement and move on after 2023. The guy is an annoying Diva that postures on his previous accomplishments. It’s like listening to a 40 year old talk about how good of a player they were in high school. I’m 45 btw. And I was awesome. Lol. Hey Mike stop the stupid ass tweets and go out and play and show everyone. |

Re: Can't Guard Mike
If I'm not mistaken Thomas proved people wrong by getting back on the field at the beginning of last season and balled out scoring THREE TD's in his first two games back before suffering the season ending dislocation and ligament damage requiring surgery. This injury was totally unrelated to the ankle on the opposite leg.

And each year we keep him, the restructure will defer guaranteed money to future years, making cheaper to keep him the next offseason than to cut him. This is how Michael Thomas will make $5-10 million per TD with the Saints the next decade.
