Carr may allow Pete Carmichael to open up the play book and we'll see an exciting offense again. Someone tell DA to take the blinders off Pete and let him play to win.

But Carr definitely has the ability to stretch the field, something Dalton lacked horribly. |

Re: New Orleans Saints signing quarterback Derek Carr to four-year deal
I like the move on paper, if this team can't garner 10 wins minimum DA has to go. Carr should bring us at least 3 more wins on paper assuming the defense plays like last year or better. Saints should be at the least the giants to put it in perspective. Hopefully they draft well and and can remain as healthy as possible.

Re: New Orleans Saints signing quarterback Derek Carr to four-year deal
There is no reason why (well, there is with Dennis and Pete) the Saints shouldn't win the NFC South in 2023. At least ON PAPER.
Tampa, Carolina & Atlanta all have serious QB concerns this off-season. But then again, we allowed a QB with a QBR rating of 2.8 beat us in the dome last season, so... Injuries WILL happen. This is a violent sport. The key is having QUALITY DEPTH. See Cincy, Philly, Niners, Cowboys, and the Chiefs. |

By next year his deal is going to be looking like much more of a bargain than some believe.
