We do well with WR's and DB's though. So, it's kind of a mixed bag of nuts and dog crap. It kind of ruins the whole batch of goodies. ![]() Edit: The RAS is great but it's not the holy grail. It doesn't give you anything but untapped potential. We had a boat load of potential and big busts. No thanks to drafting solely based on the players raw athletic scores. There are too many other variables that are just as important. Like heart. You can't measure heart. You have to study film. |

Use it to separate close grades. But it's hilarious watching a 4th round pick on tape jump to a late day 1 pick before he runs a great 40, and jumps high |

I knew this team was in trouble for 2023 when no one was fired during the bye week. We've become such a passive franchise.
Maybe empty seats in the revamped dome will get someone's attention ![]() |

That’s the only thing we have control over, except for Quido. He’ll still be there.

The fact that Loomis blamed a sparse crowd on "economic difficulties" shows how out of touch and ignorant he is.
Any GM worth a damn, would have acknowledged that the fans deserve better and that change is needed to make the product desirable to ticket buyers. But nope, lets blame it on the economy when no one will buy a $5 ticket. |

We were both sick that weekend so we had to sell our tickets. We got almost $300 a piece for them. The couple that sit behind us said the Dome was still packed, but lots of blue. |

So its wrong both to say that the Saints performance or fan loyalty is what caused the Lions game road crowd or what kept the stands black and gold against the Panthers. The fact is that only teams whose fans are excited will draw big road crowds and that will require either a rich history of success and/or an exciting current team. The Saints could go 0-17 five years in a row and a team like the 2023 Panthers would never travel well here because there is no demand, people in Carolina would rather watch their first cousins pick tobacco in their birthday suits than travel to watch the current Panthers team. But by playing poorly we do open up every team that is winning or has a history of winning to travel well here. That is because of supply and demand. If we are winning and exciting too and the traveling team is winning and exciting too, that will drive up ticket prices to $500, and adding the additional cost of hotels and flights, it will limit the road crowd. But if we suck, tickets will drop to $50-100, and the road crowd will be big where demand exists. So, just wait until next year when we play more good teams where demand exists.
