It's just a forum, man. We all have opninons.
Yes we do. And it is my opinion that what random fans and internet click-baiters think about what players are thinking carries far less weight than what other players and coaches say about what they think. But, I guess they could all be lying.

You know what used to be awesome? Remember when we watched the players on our team PLAY FOOTBALL AND WIN, instead of talking about what players and coaches say about what they’re thinking? That was awesome…

Okay. I'll amend my statement of saying every single player would be trying their best. There are probably isolated players across the entire league that are too immature or stupid to listen to their agents and end up devaluing their marketability to teams across the league.

When Loomis and Gayle hand out participation trophies after the falCANS beat us in our home closer, they better reserve the biggest trophy for Quido, and maybe some discounted merch for next season? Maybe a Carr Jersey with the number embroidered sideways?

Re: Week 17 - Bucs vs Saints

All I know is that they're teeing it up at 12 noon local time on Sunday & the team we're facing (Bucs) have won 4 straight.

And flat out embarassed the Jaguars ... a team we couldn't defeat at home.

And the issue many have with you Guido is the incessant rainbow-chasing and patronizing condescension.

Members need leeway to b!tch and moan here. Things aren't always alright.

You'd do well to occasionally say "You know what Sinner, you're right - these guys suck and I hope they figure it out soon too...."

But you don't. Instead you tell fans why their opinions and feelings are wrong and dismiss their rebuttals.

You've placed yourself on an island of infallibility and you wonder why there's sharks...

Pretty much sums up the Saints 2023 season.

Re: Week 17 - Bucs vs Saints

I can't find BakoSaints post from a few months back but he was damn near spot on (again).

Basically said the Bucs are likely winning this division while doing a "soft" rebuild & signed Mayfield as the bridge/stop gap. Yet they are still looking good as of late.

From a Saints fan perspective, it seems more embarassing that Loomis went "all in" on winning the division, yet looking really, really bad.

With this so called "easy" schedule, there was no excuse NOT to win 10+ games. Classic example of bad coaching.

If you look back I never said that iceshack was himself wrong. Nor did I say his opinion was wrong. He referenced "rumblings" which can be deduced as bloggers and/or other fans or sources other than himself. I only pointed out that actual players and coaches have made it a point that fans and many media types (including bloggers) commonly and wrongly insinuate that players quit and don't try.

Also, if you look back I amended by blanket statement saying that there could be isolated players that somewhat quit, but have attached a red flag to their foreheads which will likely adversely affect their futures in the league.
