Every single one of them. They are playing for their job whether it be with the Saints or another team. I have heard your question addressed dozens of times to players, coaches, and GM's, over the years both currently active and retired. To a man every single one of them stress that players and coaches alike give it all they have to win every week regardless of other factors. Every game for them is a real job interview going forward. They also consistently insist that the whole concept of quitting is a fan generated concept, as is the whole tanking concept.

For us, tanking is not just a concept. Watch.

Right.

This team doesn't have to "tank", they are bad and poorly coached .

I have no idea. Of course, no one here does. As much time as you spend on researching all things New Orleans Saints I'm sure you've heard that a couple of ex-Buckeyes and a certain RB are all but checked out. No certainties here. just rumblings.

What you hear from your rumblings don't mean ****.

I can only off what I have heard and read from literally hundreds of players and coaches over the years.

Once again...

And the issue many have with you Guido is the incessant rainbow-chasing and patronizing condescension.

Members need leeway to b!tch and moan here. Things aren't always alright.

You'd do well to occasionally say "You know what Sinner, you're right - these guys suck and I hope they figure it out soon too...."

But you don't. Instead you tell fans why their opinions and feelings are wrong and dismiss their rebuttals.

You've placed yourself on an island of infallibility and you wonder why there's sharks...

If you look back I never said that iceshack was himself wrong. Nor did I say his opinion was wrong. He referenced "rumblings" which can be deduced as bloggers and/or other fans or sources other than himself. I only pointed out that actual players and coaches have made it a point that fans and many media types (including bloggers) commonly and wrongly insinuate that players quit and don't try.

Also, if you look back I amended by blanket statement saying that there could be isolated players that somewhat quit, but have attached a red flag to their foreheads which will likely adversely affect their futures in the league.

The thing is, nobody really cares about all that drama, except you. Most of us just want to see a quality team WIN FOOTBALL GAMES. We have not, are not, and will not, at any foreseeable future time. This has been, is, and will be painful for all of us, except you.
