Thank god. Massive overpay for a player who is coming off an injury nobody at his position has ever recovered from, who was struggling before the injury anyway, and was never consistent in the past.

I think we should put Alontae Taylor back on the edge. There is the argument that we have moved Taylor around too much but I think in his 2022 rookie year on the edge he was actually a good all around player. Then in 2023 we decided at the last minute to hand the job back to Adebo and force Taylor to the slot where he was uncomfortable. Then in 2024 Taylor had a full training camp in the slot and made some strides with run defense and pass rush from the slot, but just isn't suited to coverage in the slot, and suffered from being bounces around between the slot and edge due to injuries. I think Taylor's only chance to be a good all around player is in the slot and we should use him there.
