Who Thinks Our D-Line Suck Now?
That was the MIGHTY JAGUARS rushing attack being held to under 100 yards today. That's right, THE BIG BAD JAGS! HA! I'm laughing so hard right now at those folks on this forum who thought Jacksonville was going to run all over us, what in the HELL do you have to say now? THE SAINTS GREAT DEFENSIVE FRONT held the Jaguars rushing attack to 88 total rushing yards, thats right 88 yards, that's six games in a row people, it's about time for you negative kats to start giving credit where credit is due. CONGRATULATIONS BOYS, you have officially turn it around.

I say keep it up! I do not like the big pass plays, but if you keep teams from running, it usually means a win. The Saints stopped a very potent running attack today.

So how many games is this now with less than 100 yards rushing?? And not to mention we had 3 picks (one for a touchdown)...I'm liking this.

We lived with Gray passing the ball and putting 8 and sometimes 9 in the box. The DLine did a nice job though. Jags were behind all game and had to pass. They didn't run as much as usually do.

Re: Who Thinks Our D-Line Suck Now?
Wynn had an exceptional game. He had 2 sacks on the QB. I am glad he has been given an opportunity to contribute. It really does not look that bad if the Saints have to go a little deeper on the roster when it comes to defense. We actually have some very good backups. How about having a guy like Simmons as a backup? Did he have a great game or what? How about when Grant went out, I would say Cooper did a very nice job today also.

I think that's the great thing about having so much competition at training camp and through preseason! The backups get great practice, and they're almost like second starters

Re: Who Thinks Our D-Line Suck Now?
From what I read.....this is our seventh straight game holding a teams rushing attack to under 100. That ties a record stretch that the Dome Patrol had in 1991. VERY NICE!!!

Both DL and OL played great today! This line play has made the difference IMHO.
