In the 4 losses the Colts were almost perfectly balanced with 29 rushes and 30 passes. The other 3 losses were 32 rush to 16 pass, 34 rush to 26 pass, 28 rush to 19 pass. The major difference was turnovers on offense. The 4 wins which in all the games except Atlanta the opp. was playing catch up and they threw more. 21 rush to 43 pass, 24 rush to 41 pass, 21 rush to 43 pass, 23 rush to 33 pass. Seattle and the 49's threw the most with 43 attempts each with a yard per catch of 6.9 and 3.9 yards per catch respectively. Yes stats can be misleading but the defense isn't that bad and by the way what was the Colt's defense ranked last year?

Thats easy... Colts D finished 5th last season. The mark of a champion.

Again those numbers are misleading. You have to watch the games and see how the teams come out against us. They come out throwing and several times before running the ball. They are pass happy against us. They get 2-3 TD's ahead and they can relax as we have to go one dimensional on them with a pass happy offense which caused turnovers... all the stats are misleading based on what the teams do/game plan against us.

BIG PICTURE is really important and what other teams are doing to us.

I also thank you for your debating and not making personal attacks.

These are great stats! Carnell Williams, Young-White-Brown, Foster-Williams, Alexander, Dunn-Norwood, Gore, and the biggest task: Taylor and Jones-Drew.

That's a good run defense.

but here is what I mean but stats that are misleading. I can also say that I am right based on TOTAL Yards per game which the Colts were ranked 5th and the Saints 21st in 2006 Still a HUGE difference.

I just don't think Garrard would've made any kind of difference in the game, not the way the Saints were playing. I mean the Jags had enough confidence in Grey as a backup to let Leftwich go without blinking, bottom line the Saints shut down one of the best rushing offenses in the NFL and it had nothing to do with their QB. And PLEASE, stop saying that they were way behind and abandoned the run, it was still a game when Jones-Drew ran that kickoff back, they had the momentum and still couldn't generate a rushing game. 4 - 4, and yet they're still not playing good ball? Well, if they can run off another 8 wins playing the way they are, I'll be right right there with my Black and Gold umbrella doing the Benson Boogie in the middle of Canal st. WHO DAT!!!!!!!
Blacksaint...it's all good dawg...we 4-4 after that horrible start. The Defense is ballin!!

The people posting all this negative foolishness is just trying to justify the negative foolishness they were posting when we were 0-4.

Yeah...at first we were playing bad....but guess what...NOW WE ARE NOT!!!

I'm am really enjoying the way we are handling that early season adversity. This shows me that we have LEADERS on this team.

We've won 4 straight!!!!

Enjoy this...I am!

And for all you nay sayers....don't hate....just go post on the carolina panthers site or something....cause us BLACKANDGOLD lovers is Loving this WINNING STREAK!

WHO DAT!!!!
