While you are probably right, every year there are a bunch of players available when we pick that many said "no way he'll be there".

I think the year we picked 17th (2007??), there were 25 players that posters said would be long gone by the time we pick.

Hey Hagen..i know talent man...lol....Im here to tell from watching Kindel and Hughes both play here in Texas..and they are beast and will be in the NFL...im like Stockman though we might have to trade up to get either one...i would love for either one to fall to 32 and im sure the Saints would to...

Unless they find a dead hooker, illegal aliens, or 200 lbs of Chronic in his trunk prior to the draft, he will be long gone by the time we pick at #32.

Re: 2010 NFL Draft

Predraft reading mat'l...

JERRY HUGHES, DE/OLB, TCU
JAHVID BEST, RB, CALIFORNIA
BRIAN PRICE, DT, UCLA
MAURKICE POUNCEY, C, FLORIDA
CHAD JONES, S, LOUISIANA STATE
EVERSON GRIFFEN, DE, SOUTHERN CAL
COREY WOOTTON, DE, NORTHWESTERN
CHRIS COOK, CB, VIRGINIA
NATE ALLEN, FS, SOUTH FLORIDA
DARYL WASHINGTON, OLB, TCU

However, beginning to think that all this is a deep draft the Redskins should be considered as a potential trade partner to grab an impact player by moving Jamaal Brown to swap No. 1's and pick up an additonal R3 pick...

Re: 2010 NFL Draft

yep the saints will have to move ahead of the falclowns to have a shot at any of the top OLB this year. The pats will definitely scoop up the leftovers after them. If we stand pat then no way will we get either.

Everson Griffen, USC?

Not sold on the swapping #1 picks part ... maybe if they give us a number one...thusly we have two number one's.

There's no way they trade a top five pick straight up for J Brown; that's why I said we'd have to swap picks and pick up their R3 pick (maybe R2 pick)...

Re: 2010 NFL Draft

theres no way we give up brown and a #1 to move up 10 or so spots to pick a player who may not be worth it

we know brown is worth a #1.......thats been proven by his pro bowl status

we also know with him in the lineup we allow the least amount of sacks in the league.....we dont have a LT if we get rid of brown.....

there is no reason to trade brown at all.....we just dont have the kind of depth to do something that stupid
