It would have been nice to keep him if he would have restructured his contract, but on the bright side we just freed up 12 million dollars.

Good luck in Miami Reggie. I will still wear my Bush #25 jersey from time to time.

One thing I do not like about this trade ... why was it a trade-and-sign rather than a sign-and-trade like the NBA teams usually do? Seems to me this way the player's agent can hold up the trade longer than needed. Reggie's market value is what is it is at this point and dollars are pretty much the same, whether it's the Saints or the Fins. Maybe something in the new CBA prevents this?

Papz, I understand the difference between "tough love/constructive criticism" and being a hater. I know plenty of members on this board are tough on Reg but aren't haters. But, there are a lot of people who are Reggie haters.

Sometimes success isn't measured in yards and touchdowns and I think Reggie falls in this category. He did a lot of good for this franchise and I wish him the best.

Rickey! hands down. I don't think Reggie will last as long as Rickey has, even if he gets medicated.

I'm not trying to be a douche but I do believe you're exaggerating the amount of "Reggie haters" on this board. If you could even name a handful, I wouldn't consider that among the masses.

I'm glad we traded him, so at least we got something, rather then cutting him.

Bush has always been a factor when he played, sometimes a good factor...sometimes a bad one.

Bush will do good in Miami if he can stay healthy.

I understand.
Money is important. Getting the biggiest contract he can find on the middle to end, more end of his career , is important.
Saints have so much to offer and no more, plus they need to buy other positions.Goodluck to him. He was a big key part of Saints historic SB win.
You always have rebulding in football due to players/coaching staff changes.
RB is going to Miami. Too bad he could have the end of his career here and a steller one if he wanted to play like the SB season or play again for his best season ever.
You have to feel a slight bit sorry for him. I know, how can anyone feel sorry for him with his millions.Playing for Miami, the media, fans, and team are expecting him to be a SB player and take them there. Only thing is he did that here, but he had something called a Drew Brees. Something called a Tracey Porter. Hmm... HC S. Payton with his G.Williams.
The timing and all the ingredients were there.
RB is going to be under so much pressure. Gottafeel a lil sorry for him.
What happened to that guy,Fujita? Yeah. RB could call him.

(I know he went to Cleve.)
