with the saints i can see multi picks at RB more than i can see it at WR. INO last years game in New England proved one thing. Drew must feel comfortable to the WR. They took Grahm and Colston out of the game and dared Drew to use the young guns. he was so hesitant in that game with throwing to 3rd and 4th reads. smart defense by Bill. so adding to the WR is yes but in no way do you take away more than one of his pets at WR.

Look at what carolina did at DT last year. dumped some contracts and the first two picks were solid DT moves. yep dead cap space is there but they come off the books quickly.

It works but the cap hit hurts for a bit. but be careful were you slice and dice from

Jeremy Gallon running a 4-4. That should really help his stock, good for him.

I honestly see Lance Moore in Gallon. He's undersized, but he never ever drops a pass and he is a terrific route runner. He'll make an impact somewhere. Wouldn't mind it to be here.

***Big Mover Alert***

WR Jeff Janis, Saginaw Valley State; Height: 6' 3"; Weight: 219 lbs.

Ran a 4.30 40 yard dash and also a leader among the WO group with 20 reps on the Bench Press exam...

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet your third round pick, if he's still there...

2014 NFL Draft

RBs worth taking are mighty slow. No APs in this draft. D'Anthony didn't impress. Tre Mason, maybe, but not before the 3rd round.

Dri Archer is lightning fast. But small. He may be the only sleeper but not an every down back.

Jeremy Hill and Hyde may be solid. But they aren't elite. Eddie Lacy good at best.

QBs. Johnny Football runs 4.56. Wow. McCarron has a live arm but a large gut. Bortles looks good and David Carr refuses to throw. What the heck?

Logan Thomas late to the Saints? Has all the skills and size but needs coaching. He could be a good one sitting behind Brees for awhile.

2014 NFL Draft

WRs. Moncrief with a 4.40. Benjamin is a monster. Beckham is fast. Cooks is faster. Watkins is a superstar.

Moncrief is our best bet. Let's get him.

Overall, the WRs are fast, strong and have good hands. Talk about a deep position in this draft.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Jarvis Landry had a terrible combine, but those who really know Landry know that a bad combine was to be expected. Landry is not a great athlete. However, he does everything outstandingly well from a technical standpoint. He's probably the best route-runner in this draft, and he has as sure hands as any WR out there. He has a knack for creating separation, despite his less than stellar speed. I still think he's worth a late first or early second. I would love it if the Saints took Landry.

+1 Saint Leonard.

Landry is a gamer. When the lights come on, he shows up big. I still believe he was one of the best WR's (complete body of work) in college football last season.

The only knock on him I've found so far are the small hands and small school background...

Curious about the interview process...

Speaking of which, the Saints have not traditionally selected any one in the draft that they interviewed which is sad because there are three in their interview group that I really like...
