If Cooks and Landry are on the board at 27, I would snag Jarvis. Plays bigger than his stature, will go across the middle without hesitation & he too catches everything in sight. It will be interesting to see where they both end up. |

Cooks will be long gone by 27. My only concern with Landry is that 4.7 forty. He can get away with it in college but scary in the NFL. Cody Latimer may be the best WR remaining at 27. So CB should be the pick. |

my greatest fear and well to myself absorbed joy ALL but one of the QB will be on the board when we pick. If this happens all the safe bets will gone and we will be staring at the world of upside and over rated potential on the boards we are seeing through the media. I pray the saints stay clear of these players and we do not have to relive another Robert Mechuem type of pick. Besides with drew at the helm would any one WR at this point really be nothing more than another complement to what we already have. So solid players need only apply at this point. My short list at this point JASON VERRETT DEONE BUCANNON CYRUS KOUANDJIO JEREMIAH ATTAOCHU XAVIER SU’A-FILO AUSTIN SEFERIAN-JENKINS KYLE VAN NOY MARQISE LEE nope Dee Ford does not make the list. Injury prone never has played a full season in college |

Re: Mock Draft Simulator
That Ourlads draft doesn't look too shabby. That'd get some of the folk on this site grinning ear to ear. It looks like Walthers has finally given up trying to give us a second round QB like they've been doing to me every time I try'em.

Where's ILB Mosely? I think he's gone but so many show us with a shot at him. I will not forget how our OL struggled most of last year and how often teams could run on us right up the middle (as usual). I take these in the 1st (in this order): WR Cooks, ILB Mosely, CB Varrett, ROT Kouandijo. These in the 2nd: OC Richburg, QB Grappolo, TE Niklas, ROT (Streif should be a swingman on a good Saint OL, not a starter), LB, or CB. These in the 3rd: WR Landry (over-emphasis on 4.7 40 will get him to 3rd but probably not to our pick), QB Murray, maybe Richbury makes it to the 3rd?, WR Abbrederis, other WR, OC Martin (Richburg should be seen as #1 OC). hoping for some good ones available late due to ACL or small school status: - 5th: CB Aiken, OT Billy Turner (both gone in 4th?), CB Colvin (to IR), OG Brandon Thomas (to IR), WR Jeff Janis (to school). |

Lee i pause at still. I see Henderson and Mechuem in the kid. Sef if we went with a gamble on hype and potential i think i would role the dice on him,,, maybe. his blocking improved every year which is a huge plus. yep i am reaching for something to over shadow the knock on attitude. to be honest i would draft a QB before these two and hold an auction. |
Re: Mock Draft Simulator
I have settles on a third round if a TE is wanted, he everything you need and is just as athletic as as almost 98% of the draft. Blocking skills second to none.
third sure but just maybe in the fourth but highly unlikely IMO, CJ in the third Vs. Niklas in the second the only difference is an inch or so 91 TE C.J. FIEDOROWICZ IOWA |
Re: Mock Draft Simulator
Beckman won't make it out of the top 10. Will probably go at 7. If Marqise Lee and Lattimer are available the will take either one or if by chance both are gone they may look at the penn state guy. I still think we go after a de/olb like Barr and yes that means we'll have to move up but I started with that choice and I still believe we need the pressure point on the defense. They have faith in Butler this year but I wouldn't put all my eggs in that basket. We really do have a pretty go offensive unit without another player except a beast at center.

Re: Mock Draft Simulator
i have to beat the dead horse one more time for my favorite RB in the draft. Runs in between the tackles he is an excellent blocker like no other in the draft. line him up were every you want and he will produce. he is a little PT and a little DS IMO.
All this behind an OL that well to put nicely stunk really bad. This kid is meant to be in our offense. |
