Right now everything rest on Anthony stepping up Craig Robertson goes to his natural WLB postion. Dannell Ellerbe goes to 3rd specialist to increase the chance he can play all 16 games

I can see at least 3 pick for the secondary. i could live with as many as 5 picks in the secondary in this draft. |

Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
I was on PFT and saw and article about Tim Hightower visiting the 49ers, which means he's probably moving on. I'm completely fine with that, but it mentioned how we brought back Cadet. Why? What do they see in Cadet? I'd take a Reggie Bush reunion over keeping Cadet any day of the week. Mickey Loomis. Sean Payton. If you're reading this it's too late.

If he can't contribute as a DE on this roster then I think it's best we cut him now and find somebody who can.

I'd even consider making him a conditional trade where his trade value would be commensurate with his success with his new team... But he should be moved, he can't play DE in our 4-3; he doesn't have the legs, knees to hold and set the edge... |

Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
You're probably right. At best he's probably a 3rd down specialist as a DE. DE is going to be so important for us in this draft. We should get tons of pressure up the middle though with Rankins and Fairley. I can't wait to see Rankins in his second year. One more piece and this line could wreak havoc. I love the Okafor signing though. If he's healthy, watch out.
