I can't seem to download the sound byte however Vilma was recently asked this (WWL) question as it relates to coaching for the Saints and he vehemently stated no.

Coaching is brutal. It is a family killer. It definitely takes a special breed.

Best of luck to these guys, but these changes were overdue. Things were getting stale with the same staff and very little results.

Mike McCoy, San Diego Chargers
Chip Kelly, San Francisco 49ers
Gus Bradley, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jeff Fisher, Los Angeles Rams

some solid staff should be on the market as soon as the hiring start.

My vote would be bringing in Bradley out of those as DC and let him pick his staff. Those firings are the best news I've heard now just 1 more to go!!

You do realize that Dennis Allen wasn't fired right?

In my opinion, I think Coach Payton has high trust and respect in Dennis and will most likely allow him to run the defense entirely without butting in.

I'll be very interested to see who the replacements will be. Circle back to my earlier post ... I like Pepper Johnson on my short list of LB coaching candidates. Also wonder if Brian Young is promoted?

Payton held those clowns in high regard for years also. Might as well get them all.
