Defensive End, Corner back, Starting Guard, Safety are what I'm looking to add...

And I don't trust a guy with two last names...
As much as I agree that those positions need addressing, the team failed last year because the offense couldn't convert in times of need. As soon as teams started taking Kamara and Thomas out of the game, we relied on guys like Kirkwood, Tre'Quan, Carr, Lewis and Arnold - who all proved that they could not compete come playoff time.

Only guy that helped us was Ted Ginn, but those guys had a ton of opportunities to be "the" guy in crunch time and failed.

That's why I think another WR is very high on our list of needs.

With the exception of Tommylee, everyone of those guys you named have one thing in common - they were all in their first full season in the NFL...

Now they've got a full season and a full offseason, now no longer starstruck, go into the office each day with Hey, Drew instead of OMG, I can't believe that's Drew Brees...

Everyone of those guys except for the diminutive Tommylee Lewis who can't offer sh!t on punt returns (or doesn't really want to) will likely make this team and make some impressive plays on the Run to the Lombardi...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Did anybody watch that video above of Jose Joaquin Arcega-Whiteside catching the ball? He looks like Michael Thomas and Jimmy Graham.

Yes. And there's something to be said about football players who were basketball players as well.

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

OK here's my updated first pick for the Saints:

Option 1

We pick Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio State

Option 2

We pick Irv Smith, TE, Alabama

and no trade up. It would cost us too much and the picks will be worth a lot more to us in 2020.

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft

Yeah I've ready good things about J.J.

Any player with complete body control to catch & when the ball is in the air, they win most of the battles.

Who in their right mind wouldn't want 2 MICHAEL THOMAS (JJ looks the part) on the same team at WR come playoff time???

Circle back to the NFCCG ... once Talib put the clamps on MT, it was over. He had no help to pick up the slack & keep the chains moving.

I don't think JJ will be available but Campbell and Ridley might.

I like Ridley a lot and I won't discount Parris either (assuming they are available). Parris is a good route runner and I'm sure Urban Myer has had lengthy conversations with SPayton on his potential at the next level.

We shall see.

BEST PROSPECT AVAILABLE!

If it happens to be a WR fine.

I can't think of a position where we wouldn't want to take the best prospect available except Punter, Kicker, and maybe FB?
And make sure the guy doesn't have an injury history.
