Re: Brees is done
EVERYONE gets the blame for this loss. Offense, Defense and Coaching Staff. The organization went out there and had a collective let down.
Now, does this become the start of a decline, or a wakeup call? Let's hope for the latter. |

Re: Brees is done
Brees and Ginn just never developed great chemistry. Ginn’s dropping stuff on the shorter routes and when Ginn runs a go route Brees only throws it 25 yards.

Re: Brees is done
Ginns problem his whole career is he is more worried about taking big hits than securing the catch. 5 hands to the face penalties was Bs. 3 of them they called on 3rd downs. The Oline played horrible but I think 2 or 3 of those sacks was because he was holding the ball too long. They can call hands to the face every other play but they called 20 on just one team. We will be just fine and Brees is not done.

Good god. We're 7-2. ****in relax people. It's almost more annoying when we win a lot of games, because all some of you do is *****, gripe and overreact after a loss.
Brees is washed up. Sean Payton needs fired. ****in relax people. Go back and snuggle your teddy bear and wait for next game. |

I've noticed one person overreact, by saying Brees is done. Everyone else is justifiably upset with a 17 point loss to a 1-7 team. At home, no less. If that sits well with some people because "only one game" then I suppose some of us are more competitive than others. |

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion of course. I guess I can see logic and I understand emotions. But some people just make news for the Falcons board to look at and laugh. I'm not loyal to any player or coach that hurts the team more than helps it. I want the Saints to win. But in the same regard, I also know that sometimes things happen and we lose. When people completely come off the rails and post bulletin board material that's at best, laughable, its embarrassing. |

But I do think that that was a disgusting performance yesterday, and while I don't feel like the Saints suddenly stopped being contenders, I just hate when a team fails to even get up for a game. As a competitor, there's never been a situation where I competed for anything and didn't want to embarrass my opponent. I never feel like I need to, or can afford to take it easy on anyone. So it grinds my gears to hear people dismiss things like this when they happen like it's no big deal. Because you can lose to anyone. But not showing up is inexcusable. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
